Easy Script is the simplest module for Jommla! 1.5. Just copy and paste the code (text, html, javascript, php ....) in the field and away you go. Without WYSIWYG editor.

I use mainly for Google javascripts: Adsense, Analitycs...
Easy but necesary in each joomla instalation.
